Ubuntu system shortcuts

GENERAL
Super + L - Lock Screen
Super + V - Show the notification list. Press Super+V again or Esc
Ctrl + Alt + T - Open Terminal

WORKSPACES
Super + PageUp/PageDown - Switch between workspaces
Super + Shift + PageUp / PageDown - Move active window to another workspace

WINDOWS
Super + Shift + Left / Right - Move active window to other monitor
Super + Down - Minimize active window
Super + Up - Maximize active window
Super + Left - Pin active window to the left screen edge
Super + Right - Pin active window to the right screen edge
Super + D - Show Desktop

Nautilus

Ctrl+T - Open a new tab
Ctrl + H - Toggle the hidden file display
Ctrl + L - Show path to current directory
Ctrl + 1/2 - Toggle between list view (1) and icon view (2)
Ctrl + Shift + N - Create new folder
Alt + Up/Down Arrow - Enter parent/child directory
Alt + Left/Right Arrow - Navigate forward/backward in history
Alt + Enter - Show file/folder properties
Alt + Home - Go to Home directory
F2 - rename file/folder
F9 - Toggle Nautilus sidebar

VS Code

Ctrl + / - everything in the code that is selected/highlighted will be commented out

Ctrl + Shift + ` - turns on Console

Ctrl + ] - indent the selected code one step

Ctrl + [ - outdent the selected code one step

Alt + Up and Alt + Down - the selected lines of text will move up and down through a code

Ctrl + Shift + P - Command Palette

Ctrl + Alt - Hold these buttons and use mouse or keyboard arrows to select only one part of the code limited not only by horizontal borders but also by vertical borders

Shift + Alt - Hold these to select only part of the code by horizontal and vertical borders (unlike only just by vertical borders as in regular select). Borders can be moved with mouse cursor or keyboard arrows

Ctr + Shift + I - Formats JSON file in multiple lines with proper indentation.
